Jo Daniels plays a very important role in the lives of many of our Sketchers.

Many of us attend her weekly classes and enjoy the sociability and friendship that comes with being part of a such a  kind and caring group.

Jo is also an excellent sketcher so our groups blend beautifully, always with a view to improving our sense of  everyday wellbeing and enjoyment of the lives we lead.

We are delighted that Jo will be taking Yoga with Erin Hill Sketch tutor, on ‘Sketching with a Touch of Yoga’ at Daku Resort, Fiji in September 2013.

Here are some wonderful testimonials to support my humble introduction……………………………………………

I have been doing yoga with Jo Daniels for about 4 years now and find the yoga a very enriching experience . The combination of traditional poses, stretch and tai chi, and wonderful relaxation help to keep me in good health.

Jo is a very warm and caring person and teacher which makes yoga very much enjoyed by me.” Jan

”Jo’s yoga teaching style is fascinating because it’s not stayed within a conventional yoga.

She combines yoga, tai-chi and even dance, so I feel not only relaxed but also fun after her classes.

If I can take her lessons in fresh air in Fiji, that must be fantastic!”      By Atsuko

“I enjoy Jo’s yoga because she plans our class to take into account how our bodies may – or may not – move.  We always find time to have a laugh and the relaxation at the end is wonderful.

The mixture of different styles of yoga and some tai chi ensures that we do a complete “workout” with gentle and strong poses.

Jo is very caring and makes sure that everyone enjoys the class.”    – Therese

“I have been enjoying Jo’s yoga classes since she re-invented herself as a yoga teacher some 6-7 years ago.

Her classes are beautifully structured, gentle, thoughtful, nurturing and uplifting (and a whole lot of fun).  We laugh a lot but I always leave with a great sense of calm and well being.  Jo is caring and patient and has an understanding of every student’s special needs and therefore has a very loyal following.

Every class is different and special and not only good for the body but also the soul.  A huge thank you to Jo for her generosity of spirit and for giving so much of herself to benefit others”

“I have been attending Jo’s classes for approximately 7 years.

I find that her blend of yoga nidra and qigong  suits my needs very well, providing me with the right combination of stretch, meditation in movement and relaxation exercises.

I find Jo a warm and sensitive person, who is always mindful of every individual’s particular needs.  Everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace and ability.

One goes away feeling cheerful, relaxed and energised to face the rest of the day.”
