Sydney Student Sketching Exhibition 2015

Wednesday evening December 2 2015, 6.30pm – 8.30pm was the appointed time. The 51 framed sketches were hung. The restaurant was clear of those annoying customers! The place was ours. The wind died down and the sunset painted us in gold.

Gabriella and her staff were in action. Drinks on ice, delicious nibbles were  ready to be offered – Italian antipasto of cured meats, pecorino cheese plates and olive bowls, caprese skewers with mozzarella, tomato and basil.

Such a lovely big turn out of proud students, family and friends, all there to admire the very impressive exhibition of travel sketches. This is such a great occasion now, getting together ad having a great time – and no sketching required  – apart from Judy who was sketching the action while a certain person was delivering a big welcome!

A very big thank you to all our students for the very hard work that’s been put in this year. Your tutors absolutely love our ‘jobs’ – if you call this a job! More of a privilege actually. To be with such enthusiastic, fun people every day makes us very lucky people. Now go and enjoy the fruits of your labours all summer.
